Fantastic Thanksgiving Week with Family!

The week was a bit of a whirlwind starting with a trip to Washington, VA, a road trip back to New York with the Wyoming in-laws, Finger Lakes wine tastings, Thanksgiving for 10 and a special Birthday Party for Janet to round out the week.  As the chief logistical officer and activity planner, my picture taking opportunities were a little limited, so I credit my very talented sister-in-law Kathy with capturing some great photos of the week's activities to share.

The Girls before primping....

The girls post-primping and off to the ball! Thank you Janet for the warm coat.

First to the table.....
The Menu included small plates of extraordinary palate pleasing combinations.  From the hot shot of White Bean Soup to Herb Crusted Baby Lamb, Stuffed Breast of Pheasant and the Wagyu Beef with local Brussels Sprouts, each morsel was divine.  Well Done Victoria!  The wine was plentiful and I particularly enjoyed the CrossBarn Pinot Nior from California.

This Sonoma Coast gem from Paul Hobbs offers a silky fruit forward experience with earthy tones and a finish that left me wanting another taste. The staff of the Inn at Little Washington were clearly well versed in their wines and shared that the CrossBarn winery is named after a local barn in upstate New York.                              How very serendipitous.
